Most management training was built for the secular professional; too afraid to incorporate faith into best practices. That has changed.
The MBA playbook was built for the secular world. It has no framework for integrity under real pressure, servant leadership, or the ethical convictions you carry into every Monday morning.
DEI policies, difficult personnel decisions, ethical gray areas, the pressure to compromise quietly. The modern workplace tests what you believe every single day. Good intentions are not enough. You need a framework.
Your faith is the strongest part of who you are. But no one ever taught you how to carry it into the boardroom without putting your career at risk. That gap ends here.
"Being a Christ-follower is not a call to passivity. It is a call to intentional, strategic, ethical engagement with the world around you. Our task is to be fruitful in that world and to use that fruit to glorify Him. Doing that well requires a plan."
— Elijah S. Bernal · The Called Manager, Course Introduction
The Called Manager was built from the ground up for Christian professionals who refuse to leave their faith at the office door. Twelve comprehensive modules covering every dimension of real-world management through a Biblical lens, from finances and reputation to DEI navigation and AI ethics.
The principles are timeless. The application is immediate. You will walk away with a framework you can use on Monday morning.
Every principle is grounded in Biblical wisdom and tested against the real-world pressures you already face.
Practical frameworks designed for any professional environment, regardless of industry or company size.
Twelve video modules, written lesson companions, and fillable templates you can begin applying immediately.
Where Sunday Meets Monday
Thirty-plus years of executive leadership inside a real organization produced the lessons in this course. These are three of them.
Module 04 — Reputation
A vendor pressed a check into Elijah's hand at lunch. Handwritten. In his name. Three times his monthly salary. He drove home with it in his pocket and a war in his mind. What he did with it over that weekend became the foundation of every opportunity that followed.
Why biblical ethics are your greatest competitive advantage
Module 05 — Know Your Role
On his first day as manager, Elijah grabbed a hand truck and headed upstairs to move ten boxes himself. A Stakeholder Partner stopped him in the hallway. "Why are you the one doing it?" That question changed how he understood leadership for the rest of his career.
The transition from individual contributor to true manager
Module 07 — Speak the Language
His CEO had CPA credentials on the wall. Every conversation felt like friction. The day Elijah stopped bringing him narratives and started bringing him one clean page of numbers, his entire relationship with leadership changed. And so did his career trajectory.
How to communicate in the language your investor actually speaks
Before strategy, before communication, before systems thinking; the Called Manager builds on a foundation that holds when everything else shakes. These are the three disciplines that sustain you through every season of your career.
Not a routine but an open conversation with the God who designed you for this calling. Prayer is the first task of your day and the lens through which you lead. It does not require a perfect hour; it requires intentionality, before the noise begins.
Scripture is not supplemental reading for the Called Manager; it is the answer key for the professional challenges you will face. Every conflict, every temptation, every impossible decision has already been addressed in its pages. Your job is to read it and act on it.
In a business world that frames moral shortcuts as practical necessities, the Called Manager operates from a different foundation entirely. Biblical ethics are not a liability in the marketplace. Over time, they are among the most durable competitive advantages you will ever possess.
By the end of this course you will not just know more; you will lead differently, on every Monday that follows.
An integrated system for leading people that holds up under every secular pressure, ethical challenge, and difficult personnel decision you will face.
No more choosing between your faith and your career. You will know precisely how to carry both with conviction, professionalism, and strategic wisdom.
A six-step, God-first strategic framework for building your career with purpose, intentionality, and divine direction rather than simply going wherever the tide takes you.
DEI navigation, hybrid team management, incentive design, communication strategy, and a seven-step disciplinary system; all grounded in Scripture and tested in real organizations.
You will understand why Biblical ethics compound like interest; and exactly how to build the kind of reputation that outlasts every title, every salary, and every performance review.
This course ends with a calling. You are not a manager who happens to follow Christ. You are a follower of Christ who has been assigned to lead people. Go lead like it.
A full-spectrum management course built on the conviction that Biblical ethics are not a liability; they are a competitive advantage.
Establishes the bedrock of Called Manager leadership; the beliefs, disciplines, and convictions that separate a manager who merely performs from one who transforms. Examines the unique challenges the Christ-following professional faces in a secular world and introduces the Three Pillars that sustain everything.
A seven-step framework for building a deliberate, God-first career plan. Covers how to seek God’s will before writing a single goal, how to define your destination honestly, and how to review and revise your plan as He reveals the next step. Includes the fillable Career Path Plan template.
A foundational, Biblically grounded understanding of what money truly is; including the critical distinction between currency and real money, why inflation silently steals from hardworking people, and how to view every financial decision through the lens of your life-force rather than abstract numbers.
How your professional reputation is built quietly in small decisions, why it is your most durable asset, and how the armor of God functions as your daily defense against the forces that will seek to compromise it. Includes the real story of the check that changed Elijah’s career.
The most costly transition in a manager’s career is moving from individual contributor to leader of a team. This module covers your money tasks, how God designed the universe through ordered and interdependent systems, and what happens when you understand your role correctly versus when you do not.
Every person on your team is moving toward something or away from something at every moment. This module examines the permanent cultural shift COVID created, the rise of quiet quitting, and how the Called Manager builds a team culture that produces genuine engagement rather than reluctant compliance.
The language gap between you and your investor, or between you and your team, is a leadership problem you own. This module covers Big Picture versus Linear thinkers, how to identify your investor’s communication language, and how a single one-page monthly report transformed a career.
Delegation, discipline, the seven-step corrective action process, how to handle the two-performer problem, and a practical step-by-step framework for leading hybrid and remote teams. Includes the Henry Ford leadership principle and the freedom-based management model modeled in God’s Word.
The Major League model of talent development, how to identify the Frank on your team before anyone else sees it, and why the manager who develops people beyond their current role is the most powerful kind of leader. Includes the story of what happens when an organization stops seeing its people as human beings.
The most personally consequential module in the course. Examines DEI honestly; its stated intentions and its real-world complications; and equips you with three operating strategies: Hidden Faith, Overt Operative, and the Covert Operative model that most Called Managers in secular organizations are built for.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping every profession now, not in the future. This module builds a Biblically grounded framework for engaging AI tools wisely and ethically; neither fearful rejection nor uncritical adoption, but the informed discernment that every Called Manager’s role demands.
Most courses end with a summary. This one ends with a commission. The thread running through all eleven modules converges here into the clarity and conviction this calling deserves. You will leave not merely knowing this material; you will leave ready to live it.

Elijah S. Bernal did not inherit a roadmap. Growing up in a lower-middle-class home, without parents who could offer business guidance or professional wisdom, he did what a Called Manager does; he started anyway.
Beginning as an entry-level clerk at what would become an AmLaw 100 law firm in Los Angeles, Elijah built a thirty-plus year career in executive management without a college degree, handed adult responsibilities fresh out of high school, performing because his family depended on it. What he lacked in formal education, he replaced with something more durable: faith, Biblical wisdom, and the hard-won lessons of real-world leadership.
He made mistakes. He navigated ethical tests that could have derailed everything. He watched organizations rise and fall based on whether their people were seen as human beings or as headcount numbers. He prayed through every season of it; and discovered that what the Lord was doing through that prayer was not just fixing circumstances. It was transforming him into the leader this course teaches you to become.
His mission: to equip the Lord’s saints with the necessary skills to lead with excellence and integrity in a secular world.
Everything you need to know before enrolling.

No spam. No noise. Just Biblical wisdom for the marketplace, when it matters.
This course finally gave me a framework that does not ask me to choose between being a good manager and being a faithful Christian. The DEI module alone was worth the entire investment. I finally knew how to navigate those conversations with courage and grace.
I have managed teams for fifteen years and gone through a dozen trainings. None of them addressed the tension I live with every single day. The Called Manager went there and gave me real tools, not just inspiration.
The “Where Sunday Meets Monday” framework completely changed how I approach Monday mornings. I walk into the office differently now; not as someone surviving the secular world, but as someone called to lead in it.
Stop managing from a playbook that was never written for you. The Called Manager gives you the Biblical foundation and practical tools to lead with integrity, purpose, and conviction; in any workplace, on any Monday.
